Using a mix of different live reef sand

Hello Reefers,

I am moving and I am planning to upgrade my tank and related to the live reef sand that I would like to change, I have a question: Can I use a mix of different types of live reef sand together? such as CaribSea - Arag-Alive - Special Grade AND CaribSea - Ocean Direct - Oolite? or it's not recommended.

Agreed, I mixed the substrate in my tank... no issues Though you can't really tell from the picture
