So I'm wondering if I use a ozone generator near my reef tank will cause a issue. Not sure if it would be a issue. Maybe sealing the tank top. Maybe turning of the skimmer and most pumps. Not sure. Has anyone ever used one around their tank??

Are you using it to clear the air of odors?
Some of us feed the skimmer with ozone to break up yellowing organics.
My understanding is that ozone in saltwater is short lived, reacts quickly.
It lasts longer in air, so be careful.
I don't think its an issue for the aquarium.

I use a generator with a reactor and secondary carbon filter in my tank. I wouldn’t worry about using one for the air outside of the tank.

This is kinda what i was thinking. But wasnt sure about the concentration of a ozone reactor made for a aquarium vs a ozone generator made to get rid of odors.

I would think the amount that would actually make it into the water table via surface exchange would be barely anything
