Using aquaforest dry calcium to make randys part 1

Hi all,

First time mixing stuff up to follow Randys recipe and to start dosing my tank..

I have purchased Aquaforest calcium chloride.

My question is, has anyone done the math to use it as per Randys recipe? I’m getting confused trying to work out the amount as per the Aquaforest instructions and the strength of the aquaforest calcium vs a generic

this is a solid calcium material? Assuming so, it very likely it is a 1:1 substitution, unless it claims to be anhydrous.
