Hi all:
Well I finally started cycling my new tank I'm using a combination of live rock, live sand and Red Sea's Reef Mature Pro Kit. It says to use live rock and sand. But I have a JBJ 45 gallon Nano tank which has media baskets. I forgot to pull the carbon from the baskets. I'm on day 4 ( actually the morning of the third day that I'm supposed to add) three days of adding the kit. Will the carbon hurt anything. I'm thinking of pulling the carbon should I?

Thank you

Wastes the carbon and (at worst) slows down the cycle......far from the worst things that could happen! :) :) :)

I tend to cycle in the same way I will run the tank once it has fish--so lights, carbon, etc. I figure that way I won't have any surprises when I change something after fish are added. (I'm not saying that is the best method, but that is my reasoning.)
