I have some white/bleached acropora skeletons that are dried out. I collected the ones that died off over the past few years.
If I placed them in my DT, would they just collect algae (GHA or maybe coralline)? Would they break down and turn to rubble?
I like the white look of the dried skeletons and I could just replace them as they turn brown/green.
Any ever try this? Any other issues besides algae like pH, nitrates etc?
