I have a Bean Animal style drain. I have just purchased a larger chaeto reactor that will sit in my sump.
Is it a bad idea to use my secondary drain/open channel drain to feed the reactor? I would still have my primary drain, and an emergency drain open.
The reactor is about a foot taller then my sump, so the water would go from the secondary drain, feed the updraft reactor, and then exit through the top of the reactor, and back into the sump.
Anyone doing something similiar? Anything I need to look out for?
