Using EcoTech power supply for battery backup

Hi

So I’ve seen the thread for the DIY EcoTech battery back. In an effort to match voltage and charge can I just buy the EcoTech power supply they use for the battery back up. Cut the wires and put terminal mounts on them and same thing on the EcoTech fused cable going to the power heads?

I’ve searched and can’t find the answer
