Just curious if anyone considered using fossil coral in their aquascapes? I've come across some beautiful pieces and imagined how they would be incorporated into a reef scene. But I'm wondering about rock chemical composition --- is fossil rock mineral composition different from standard dry rock?

Most of my live rock is fossilized coral skeletons. It is extremely light weight, and porous. It is just argonite(calcium carbonate), so it is perfectly reef safe. It is the lightest weight and most porous option for live rock. IMO the best option.
