Hey, is it to much to use fritz bacteria after I have already used seed?

your cycle is done, or a week from being done if I recall w have to reread cycle thread, so that would be adding extra but not required bac.
Those who sell bottle bac want this situation to occur, frequently. it’s not harmful, can $ add new bac several times and it will not hurt. Based on how you measure an end to a cycle the new bottle bac still might not close it though

*just went back and read, yours was a prime - caused misread yes now I recall. The seed alone will cycle fine, and if prime is still in the water then new bottle bac won’t change reading.

Shouldn’t the ammonia have at least begun to show some sort of change though at this point?

How long has it been? Only good things can happen from adding bacteria. Hopefully there is different strains of bacteria in each different brand. I know when i start up my new 600G i am going to add bactria from several different companies..

Remember from the other thread: use of prime makes you have false ammonia readings on the tests you’re using. You have a way you can prove ammonia is ready, it has to be that calibrated zero test posted for you. That approach is what removes prime from the water so your liquid ammonia test can work, and it will. You are cycled.
