Using GFO with 0.2ppm PO4 vs 0.02ppm PO4

I've read in certain places that using GFO in a tank with 0.2ppm PO4 can deplete it in around a day. Since 0.02ppm is 10 times less than 0.2ppm, then wouldn't that mean that using this same amount of GFO in a tank with 0.02ppm PO4 would only last 10 days?

But that conflicts with what I hear about how GFO can last up to a month, or at least some number of weeks.

The amount and degree that GFO reduces phosphate depends completely on how it is use and how much is used. You can pretty much drop it as fast or slow as you want, and same for the amount of drop.

The higher the phosphate is the faster the GFO you use can be depleted. A day can kill it is phosphate is very high .

If it's 0.3 or less i just mix a little GFO w GAC.

If its more than 0.3 ill run straight GFO using the BRS calculator.

If its less than 0.3 i don't run any GFO.
