Has anyone, or would anyone, use this Hydroplanet unit over their tank? If so, how does the PAR compare to Aquaticlife or ATI units? How are the reflectors? I currently only have a 4 bulb system (60" tank). This would be doubling the amount of bulbs over my tanks and probably the only way I could "upgrade" as my mother will not spend $200+ on a new fixture. Was a nightmare getting her to finally switch to ATI and KZ bulbs from AquaticLife.... I don't need/use dimming features, so this seems like it may work? Coworker said he used it at the public aquariums he used to work for in backup frag/planted tanks.

That looks like a pretty nice fixture. I think I'd feel comfortable with it. As far as cheap fixtures go, I have 4-bulb 24" Odyssea T5 fixture that's programmable and I love it.

Well... if you want the best fixture you'll need an ATI.
The cooling system and bulb efficiency is the best of all with the best reflectors out there.
No need get the dimmable version, just the regular. And no need the LED combo either... waste of money.
Get an ATI SunPower and you won't have to worry about anything besides changing the bulbs every 12 months or so.

Grandis.
