using JUST Marco E400 to create branching structures? or what else?

ive been thinking about experimenting with a "Bonzai Reef" type aquascape and would like to know if i can mix up E-400 to a clay-like consistency and use it to create a branching structure?

if not, what else?

yes, that is correct. since E-400 is Mortar more/less i thought it might be an acceptable alternative over making a clay dummy, then making a mold out of dummy, then pouring cement into mold and waiting for it to cure and hopefully be marine-safe

I think it should wotk. You could roll out cigar shaped pieces then roll then in fine crushed coral for texture. Let that dry, then glue pieces together with super glue and accelerator, add mortar to strengthen the joints then cover wet joints with more crushed coral. Good luck
