Looking at replacing a 360we with the new X. Only thing is I will still be running 2 we models. Anyone else run a mix? Looks like a controller nightmare. I currently use the Apex 1-10v. This will not work with the X. The spectral x controller will run both, anyone do this? is it clunky? Can they be programmed together or do separate programs need to run with each model? Other option I see would be the wifi dongle and control the x with that and the other 2 we's with the Apex. Sounds clunky. Anyone have some experience controlling the 2 models together?

I run a ramp up and down program. And have a virtual outlet on the apex that I can turn on to change color and intensity to what I want to look at, at any time. I want to be able to do something similar and simply.

i have you can tell the difference in color between the 2 versions i now run 2 a360x with a radion in the center of them color matched its the perfect combo. i use the 2 other kessils on my frag tank

I'm running the Kessil AP9x on 1/2 of a 60" wide tank and two 360N Tuna Blues on the other half. The 9X has 10v outputs as well as the USBC output and the program works fine. I can tell they're a little different, but they look close enough that no one else can. I took them off of the Apex controller to do it. I think your best option is to set the X the way you like it and then go through a day and just program the apex to match it as closely as you can. Or if you want to splurge on the 9x, it is really nice!
