Using neptune LM without apex?

Is this possible?
Like, can I just power the diodes directly?

Do not have an apex controller but the light I bought has the lunar modules attached and I have the controller module they plug in to.
Does anybody have any solutions?

I dont think you can reuse the controller module without an apex without putting in unreasonable amount of work, but maybe i'm wrong, you'd have to open it up and look, but the string of leds is just that, should be easy to power them separately, you just need to find out at what voltage they run. You'll need another controller though if you want to do the lunar simulation thing, otherwise it'll just be on/off or a twist knob.
