Hi there, I'm struggling to work out how much np bacto pellets to use in my reactor in grams, I have a 210l tank, any advice I would be grateful for.
Many thanks

Hey @Toni1984 - here is a link to the NP Bacto Pellets. There are instructions on how to use them. I'm also inserting a screenshot of the directions below too. Let us know if you need anything else.
Good luck!

Hi there, thank you for your advice, I have a 200l tank so that would be 100ml of the pellets, it's probably me being stupid but I thought ml is a measurement for liquid not solids so I'm confused in how to measure it. Hope you can help.
Many thanks

Thanks for pointing that out as I missed it. It is rather strange. I know 1ml of water is equal to 1g of water. However, when you start getting into things with different masses the numbers change. In this particular application, it would be easy to assume the water equivalency but, as with most assumptions, that may prove dangerous. I think I would contact Tropic Marin directly and ask them. Probably not what you want to hear but I believe the safest course. Wish I could be of more help.

Ok thank you, ye that's why i didn't want to go ahead and use the stuff. The pot says 500l on it but it wasnt full when I got it as I would of measured it and decided it by 10 to get my 50ml but unfortunately I cant do that now. Thank you anyway
