Hi,

So I put a large amount of live rock from my old tank into a brute containers with powerheads only for last 2 months. No light no skimmer. Can I just put the rock back into new tank?

I do have some rock that has dried out that I plan on just scrubbing a bit and rinsing off in ro water. I also have some live rock in another holding tank with fish/coral that I'll transfer directly into new tank.

Does this plan sound right? Trying to avoid a cycle and stress the fish/coral.

Well ,as I see it ,the live rock that has been in brute containers ,as long as it's been feed a little on a regular basis should still be alive and able to be put straight in your new tank .
Your dried rock has nothing on or in it and should slowly get a culture to grow on it in time .
put your live rock in your new tank with everything else and run it ,test the parameters which I feel should be OK and then slowly add the fish
happy reefing
