I'm sure many of you on here use Paypal when conducting business with each other or a vendor. I just attempted to communicate with PayPal and received this message:


This site contains harmful programs​

We have detected a variety of malicious items on epl.paypal-communication.com that might attempt to install harmful programs on your computer that can modify and delete your files, change your browser settings, steal information (i.e. photos, passwords, messages, credit cards). CCleaner Browser's Anti-Phishing solution recently detected harmful programs on epl.paypal-communication.com. Please note that sometimes safe sites can be temporarily affected by malware (i.e. adware, phishing, spyware, etc.)

If the email showed up as "Pay-Pal" that should be your first red flag :D
 
PayPal has over 300 million active users that they make money off of. I don’t think they need to scam and put malware on people’s machines to make a few extra bucks.

As stated, sounds like you clicked a link on what’s called a phishing email. This is an email that purports to be from somewhere official, but is, in fact, a look-alike that is full of links that will steal your information. As mentioned, if you did input your login information, please change your password immediately by going to PayPal directly.
