Using Red Sea calcium test kit month after expiration

My calcium test says it expires in December and now it is the end of January. The numbers seem to be fairly reasonable. Do you think I could use it a little longer? I have not been able to get a replacement just yet

Here is nothing magic about expiration dates. One approach is get a new one and if they are close enough, use the old one till it’s gone.

Ya I realize it makes me sound like a idiot asking this but u was wondering if they usually stop working right around that time or if they are all different

I found an older kit of mine read lower levels than it did when new - after it got older by more than a month out of date.

I compare it too NSW. It was quite accurate when new.

redsea alk test kit is the same. Reads lower as it ages beyond use by date.
