Using silicone to hold rocks in place??

Can you use silicone to keep your aqua space in place ??

I always wondering the same. I not sure it it will hold long term + you will see it as your tank matures. I am guessing it could work but there are better option out there.

It will not hold.
Rock will absorb water. The water will break any hold the silicone has on the rock.

Use epoxy puddy then take agronite gravel and imbed it into the epoxy. That makes it look natural. If you’re working with dry rock epoxy holds forever . Wet works to but hard to get it sticking.

I used Emarco mortar. They make a pink that blends in really well. This stuff is solid!!
