So if I were to use sodium carbonate instead of bi carbonate in aquaforrest 123 do I use the same amount 80 grams to one liter to mix part 2 or do I need to use less when mixing my own part 2. According to my calculations to keep the same kh addition it would be 56 grams to one liter. Or do I just bake 80 grams and just mix that up with one liter. I’m trying to get my ph up I was fluctuating from 8.1-7.8 with brs 2 part and now it fluctuates with aquaforrest 123 from 7.8-7.6

Sodium bicarbonate is much less soluble than sodium carbonate, so may need a more dilute solution. Tha tis why my DIY using bicarbonate is half as strong as the recipe using carbonate:

So would my calculation be correct was wanting to see if I figured it out correctly instead of 80 grams no carbonate for one liter I would dilute it by iseing 56 grams carbonate per one liter using less in one liter would dilute the solution
