I have a nice RODI system but I need my tank full with water. It’s been like a month and it’s just been half water full because I haven’t been able to make enough water for both my quarantine tank. It’s confusing but anyway I have a 75 gallon mixed reef thats filled to maybe 60 gallon. Should tap be fine this once. Reason I’m asking is because I already have a bad phosphate problem and my corals are fine so I don’t want to mess anything up.

I know I made that super complicated sorry. Thanks for the help

Fish QT? I would just use tap for that.

Display reef? Probably not a good idea.

I would just go to a grocery store and grab a couple jugs of distilled water, still way better than using tap water. Especially that you need to fill your tank with 15 gallons of water.

Okay thanks. I just read that tap could kill the bacteria and I didn’t like that idea to much.

If you are concerned about chlorine in the tapwater, you can add a conditioner like Stress Coat or aerate the water for a day or so.
