Ok so I recently had a large amount of bubble algae and went through about 6 weeks of dosing vibrant, and it’s now completely gone from what I can see.

my question is, would there be any downside or issues caused by just making vibrant a weekly or biweekly thing? Obviously you wouldn’t need to use as large of a dose once everything is in check, but can this be used as a preventative thing too? Any long term issues with corals?

well your tank will become addicted to it. It will kill all the good algae as well and the second you stop using it be ready for a Dino outbreak.

The chemical is hit or miss with sps and is a mollusk killer.
Plus if you REALLLY want to do this save yourself some money and switch to algaefix. It is the same thing except correctly labeled.

Thanks for the info. At this point I haven’t noticed any issues but it’s been a couple months since I stopped using it. Was mostly just curious for future use if I ever run into problems again.
