When you order box's from USPS you use too be able too turn them inside out too (so it would be blank brown) and send out with UPS, Fedex or Express mail, now they have this on the inside of the box..

If I send with USPS Express like this do you think it will be a problem? I do not think there will be but want too make sure, has anyone had any experiance shipping with the label like on the outside?

I knew it would happen sooner or later

I use priority boxes for express shipments. I fold the box so the white side is showing and cover the priority lettering with EXPRESS stickers.

You can use priority boxes for express shipping legally. There is no need to turn the boxes inside out to use for express shipping. They did that so people don't use their boxes for other shipping methods.

I do the same thing, works great.
But, no more turning them inside out for a freebie box to ship Fed Ex or UPS.
You can get the same size box 7X7X6 from Uline pretty cheap. This is what I use for UPS shipments.

I wouldn't think UPS or FedEx would give it a second glance. They seem to ignore the Fragile and This Side Up markings.

lol...harry. i was watching ups drop off a package to my house. it was a display for a jewelry store so it was kinda heavy...and he put it at the top stairs of the truck and then let go and it rolled outa the truck. thankfully they ship those things extremely well. LOL

This is so true lol. I just received a CPU yesterday from UPS. It clearly says this side up and fragile on all sides and top and bottom. It still got to us all smashed up. They don't really care what it says on there just as long they got your money in the bank.

They are smart... It says on their site that turning them inside out is in violation of federal law. I guess they figured out that there was no way to find out without printing inside.

Wrap in in brown paper, such as a grocery bag. That'll teach em'!

While this is possible, as someone who worked in the retail shipping business for several years, this is not advisable when shipping with UPS or FedEx. The reason being that your label stuck on the outside of the box (or on the paper) is the only traceable item on your package. Paper can get caught in the belts they use in their huge sorting facilities, and since it's all automated, nobody's going to notice your paper and label is gone until its way too late. By the time they warehouse it, catalog its contents, and your claim goes through, all of your stuff is definitely dead.

USPS is in competition with UPS and Fed Ex, so they really don't care what box you're using, as long as it has their label on it, and you paid them to send your box somewhere else. We used to use priority boxes without even bothering to turn them inside out...

I've used priority boxes with FexEx, also FedEx Boxes with UPS service.

Each time I come drop them off at either facilities, they just smirk.

I need a box to use, and who ever offers it to me I'll use it. Service will be dependent on pricing and level of service.
