I have a question. If I ship through USPS and they ask me if there are any liquids or perishables, what do you say? Will they just want to know what it is?
Thanks

I just say no liquids inside. I make sure to fill the bag w/ water and leave only a tiny bit of air. If shipped overnight the air is not really neccessary.

i just act like i dont hear them and say "wha... oh no"
i used to say yes and it wasnt a problem and they never said anything but then they started to ask what liquid then i said salt water and they just kept asking questions and more questions and i was like screw it, it takes too long so now i just say no

revhtree, do you have any issues when you say yep to both. Do they ever refuse the package?

i just say an aquatic plant to all carriers.....they dont seem to have a problem with that.

but after visiting fedex multiple times over the course of a couple of weeks, the guy asked me if i was selling pot plants and if so could he buy some from me.

:hammer: that is classic! :hippy2:

If asked I always tell them it's corals and please hand with care.Thank You!!

I never had any problem.

My fedex and DHL account states what I am shipping.

I shipped usps today and told the lady it was live fish so she wrapped it in tape like 20 times and then broke out her stamp and stamped "fragile" all over it. Then she asked if they were man eating fish and I told her it was a mini great white and chukled.

as long as it doesn't slosh around i don't think they can say anything. I just pack real well and you can't tell what it is

another tip is to get the free boxes online for priority shipping, then order the express mail tape(also free) and use the express stickers to cover the priority print on the box.

i was told by a fedex they couldnt ship is then the manager said yes, but then the price jumped up to double i was like "What the F***"

oh well the answer is no from now on, heheh

I always tell them it's Perishable. I always write LIVE CORAL This side up on the box with arrows pointing up.

I wouldn't ship usps they are far to unreliable for me it is either ups or fedex whenever I ship anything of value
