For people that have had success using UV Sterilizers to eradicate dinoflagellates how long did it take? Also did you use them in your sump or display? Thanks

I used mine in the sump of a 200 gallon tank, took about 4 days to clear.

I used in main display and seen noticeable difference the next morning. Buy took less than a week to eliminate. I did need to put back in for a few days a month later but now has been over a year with no signs of them. I loved the UV because I try to avoid chemicals as much as possible. Added benefit water was super clear and film algae slowed down also Good luck.
