Any value to these two items?
UV is a Lifeguard UL-25 and I have no idea on the brand or size of the sump.
In the process of breaking down my tank.

Anyone have any idea what brand that could be or size? Looks like a standard sump to me, nothing fancy.

It's a regular old school wet/dry filter. You may be able to sell it locally, but shipping it would cost more than it's worth.

How much is it worth $50?

Depends how big it is. Do you know the length and width of the whole thing, and then the length and width of the open area where the pump goes? If the open area is big enough for someone to fit a skimmer into than you could get away with $50-$75, depending on size and if you have all the parts.

The wet/dry filter is a great biological filter, but doesn't leave much room in the open section for much else, like a skimmer, reactor and the return pump.

So if you clean it up well, have all the parts... Then maybe list it on Craigs List or Facebook as a local sale. Or list it as a good freshwater sump, because that doesn't need a skimmer and would benefit from just the bacterial side.

Just to be clear, and don't take this the wrong way, but you would be better off targeting people that don't know much about this stuff, as opposed to listing it on a saltwater fish/reef forum.

I know there are a bunch of freshwater people that are now adding sumps to their tanks and a wet/dry would be perfect for that, imo. Or maybe a pet store would give you store credit if you have other pets.

How much is the UV sterilizer worth? I know they’re still making those. I saw them at Marine Depot for a couple hundred dollars.

As for the UV, I can't find a place that sells the UL-25 anymore. They sell the newer models. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just contact Lifegard Aquatics and ask them what bulb replacement you can use for this model. The newer ones may have different pin connections and may not be compatible. If they have a bulb that will fit, I'd say $75. But you obviously can't sell it if someone can't put a bulb in it, lol. And you should verify that it works still, if you haven't already.

If the bulb has any life left, just plug it in and see if it comes on quick. Just don't leave the bulb on out of water long.

All this equipment is currently in operation and yes the bulb is lit on the UV. Just trying to gauge a price when I finally get this tank broken down.

Oops, I put the wrong model # for the UV. It’s the QL-25. I see new ones are $200. I was thinking $100 or best offer?

Dimensions on sump are 24L x 12W x 16H. Currently running two pumps in there. Might be enough room for a skimmer and one pump.
