UV effect on Medications

Hi,

I was wondering what a UV sterilizer's effect is on medications.

Generally speaking, it's not a good idea to run a UV with medications. The perfect example of why not is Cupramine. Cupramine is ionic copper bonded to an amine. UV light breaks this bond and causes the copper level to rise to a dangerous level.
