So I have a Waterbox Reef LX 320.7 and purchased a Pentair 80 watt UV sterilizer. This is sized for up to 600 gallon tank, but I’m at 320 total volume. Pentair recommendation for this sterilizer is a flow rate of 2700/3600 GPH (suggested/maximum) for algae. Would I stick with these recommendations given my tank is only 320 gallons, or dial the flow down?

Imo I'd definitely dial that thing down....I run 13 watt on a 90, and only 6 hours a day. You are burning up too much of the good stuff at that rate full on.....

Geesh! I tried running conversions on their power outputs and flow ratings. But I give up!

If you're after parasites, you'll want to cut their recommended algae flow by a factor of six(6). So we'll call it 400-600 gph for parasites.
