I'm considering adding a Pentair Aquatics 25 w UV Sterilizer to my 90 gal setup to help me in fighting dinos/cyano/disease, etc. After the sump, reactors, skimmer, external pump, and dosing containers, I don't have a lot of room underneath the tank to put it in, and installing on the return line isn't an option either.

To anyone who's willing to share, would you describe and/or post images of your uv installs? Thanks in advance!

I believe the best way, when it comes to dinos, is to plumb the UV straight into the display. I rested the unit on my overflow and had the pump feed it straight from the display. It looks awful but it's only temporary.

Big black tube above the Clarisea is my 36W UV light. I have it plumbed off main return line and run about 100 gph through it. Right valve at the top is controlling the flow, water enters UV on the left and gets drained on the right via hose into right side of my sump into chamber with bio-cubes. Flow is monitored via Apex flow meter.
