UV LED? AI Prime

Hi everyone. I was wonder how high should I set the UV? I assume to keep it no brighter than the whites. Heres a screen shot of the app.

I kept mine at the same at the blues ... it's an important range IMO

I am a huge fan of violet and near UV, I always kept it same level as the blues with my hydras. I don't know why people got so wary of them. Crank it up!

Ok cool. I just wasnt sure how coral reacted to UV.

Also it maybe at 100% and look like it's barely on, that's because our eyes don't fully register that spectrum

100% UV would probably still burn out the low light polyps

I agree, I run 60% blue/uv/ultra blue and whites around 30% most of the day. its over a 24" cube with mostly zoas/softies/acans and a few sps right under the main AI fixture

Ok good to know. I'll be going zoas, mushrooms and softies. I just to want to fry my coral.

I started at 30% of everything because I had no idea what I was doing...LOL but I eventually found my happy place (with little film algae growth) and tank is doing great Youll get there-just whatever changes you make do it slowly....I think the max I ever upped intensity was 10% and my toadstool was p'ed off for quite a while after that LOL

Well i bought it and set it up on my 10 gallon nuvo and im still playing around with it.. I just have everything 30 except the blues witch is 35 but im playing with schedual. I cant seem to get the weather funtion to work.

Weather is random and I never use it. The lunar setting messed up my schedule so I don't use that either.
I keep the greens and reds low, because I dont think the reef needs it. And i turn up UV because the corals like it.

So i keep havning an issue on the app where it says socket conection try again and it wont let me get onto my light...

i dont know. can you detect the light with wifi?

I had already set it up to wifi with the app but after a while it wont let me conect back to the light..
