UV light installation 425 xl

So I came up with this idea myself and I can’t find anyone who installed a UV light this way. I used 2 return pumps one going straight to the return and one straight to the uv dialed into the correct flow. I connected all 3 tubes to a Y fitting. Does anyone think there would be a problem with this set up or will it work? Has anyone done this before?

Its not good. Its gonna leach heavy metals into your tank.

I think it's a good idea, but go with a poly fitting, should be easy to find.
