coming to the end of 30 day treatment of copper power for ick in my D T, my concern is as follows, does all the copper need to be removed before I turn on my UV light again. Was reading that the breakdown of copper by UV will make it toxic. Anyone with knowledge on this subject, I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks.

I would do large WC's and Run some sort of removal media or filter and get it reduced to zero or just barely registering before firing up the UV if it were me. I don't like to take chances personally.
