I've made a sweet LED lighting setup for my tank through rapid LED. I have one more driver/channel to use and want to put moon lights in.

Are moon/blue lights ok for all fish/coral/anemones? Also I was thinking about putting in some UV lights to make the colors pop more at night.

They are not true UV. They are violet UV LEDs - Violet UV LEDs - Rapid LED

Moon light LEDs: Royal Blue Moonlight LED - Rapid LED

How intense is ok with night lighting?

Cheers!

IMO i would just leave it at a low output blue since most fish and coral will be ( sleeping ) at that time of day but if you would like to see some more at night go for it.

Even very dim blues bother nocturnal creatures. Supposedly a very dim red is the only thing that doesn't disturb nighttime creatures..

Also I think you want to stay away from uv as moons.

I know that in humans the red light does not effect night vision...that is why a lot of police cars, and now fire trucks too, have red lights or red filters on their interior dome lights

Hmmm is it bad to have the lighting cycle far off from actual day time hours? The room that it is in certainly does get lit up during the day.

I was looking into moon lights so I could see what was going on when Im home later at night.
