I have a SCA 150 with center overflow, this is smack in the center of the tank. the drain and return are about 30 inches to the center from to side and 24 inches to the back. A total of three pipes, drain to sump, return and emergency overflow, all one inch in diameter. I'm trying to plumb a UV Lifeguard 55 with 3/4 inch in and out lines installed. I have also installed two 3/4 inch pipe out of the tank (Covered by rocks) for in and out, using a Jebao 12k and the pump will not move the water. I have about 4 feet of pipe on both sides ( surface mount), I'm thinking to drop the pump on the sump and return to tank using one of the surface mount, but my concern is that I won't be getting enough water in my sump. Any suggestions?

Following as I've been wondering the same thing. I think the same anyway. Your wondering if the return back to the sump will be fast enough to keep up with the output so the sump level does not get to low correct?
That's correct
