I’ve been running my reef tank for a little over a year now and I seem to not get rid of this diatom problem. I tried using gfo but it doesn’t work. I had a red cyano outbreak and the chemi clean got rid of it. Can anyone reccomended me to a cheap small uv sterilizer for the waterbox cube 20? You’re help would be greatly appreciated

I’ve been using a green killing machine 9w. So far it’s been good, it helped me defeat Dinos. I only run it part time now. It fits in the middle compartment of my Waterbox 25g. Would like to know what others are using as well.

I just purchased the aqua advantage 2000+ 15 watt sterilizer and should have it Thursday. It's going to hang off the back of my 35.2 water box. I was thinking of getting the 8 watt version and also was pondering one of the smaller cheaper Green killing machines but I figured heck with it. I'm always buying things twice because I'm not happy with the first purchase so I sucked it up and purchased one that I know will definitely do the job without having to second guess myself.

Hey sorry to bump this. Trying to find something that will fit in the first chamber of my Waterbox 20 if I put a filter floss set up on top? I’m in Australia and it hard to get some times but the green killing machine in 9w seems to be available. Does anyone know if it would fit? Or any other advice? I’m not sure how I’d fit it in the middle chamber with my skimmer in there already….

Something like this. This is an idea that may work, you will have to do a little research to make sue the tubing is correct, you could remove the inlet floss holder and put the inlet tubing in that chamber and simply find where the outlet tubing would go.
