UV sterilizer in newer tank bad?

We have a newer tank developed off an older tank (went from 30 g to 55 g) Its currently a little cloudy. Would a uv sterilizer be worth it or just wait out the bloom?

No harm. If there is a bacterial or algae bloom it will clear it up in short order.

No harm to be done just add it on and sit back until you cycle!
