Hey all,

For UV sterilizers if I need to restrict the flow would you put a gate valve on the output or input? Only reason I ask is because if I try to restrict the flow on the input side, I feel the sterilizer itself doesn’t fully fill up with water. I hope this question makes sense.

Thanks all!

It doesn’t really make a difference. The same amount of water always passes through the input and output. You are not going to have air pocket just because you put gate Valve at the input

Ok makes sense. Thanks for the input!
