I have a 90gal tank.

I have a 10 watt 211 max gph UV (in line)

I need help on figuring out how much flow my tank has so I don't go over the max flow for this UV.

I have a sump that I was going to place the UV in the return change of my sump

Can you help me with this ????

I wouldn't put it on the return unless you T it off on its own, with its own valve. That way you can control the flow to be most effective and it doesn't interfere with overall flow throughput.

So I have my return pump which is plumped with pvc pipe it goes up into a cupling then goes up where I have a ball value to control flow into my tank. Where exactly should I place a T??? Is this what your saying to do ??

In order to get effective light saturation you'll need to slow the flow through the sterilizer. Doing so the way you're describing will slow the overall flow to your tank, instead I suggest it gets its own return jet into the tank, or a return back into the sump. You can t off the return at the pump, and send one to a ball valve and up to the tank, and the other through another valve then through the UV and either back into the tank, or return to the sump in a different location preferably away from the pump intake.

You can t it off the main line then run that to a ball valve on its way to the uv. Then you can control the flow to the uv by itself. To judge the flow just get a bucket that you know the size of and run water through the line to fill it up and do the math. You'll probably lose a bit of flow so aim a bit higher.

Ok help me with pictures of my return line on where to add this UV
