UV Sterilizer Replacement Bulb?

Hello, I have a Lifegard 3" High Output Amalgam Pro-Max UV Sterilizer 120 Watts and the bulb only has 4 months of life left. I believe this model was discontinued and I am wondering if I can plug in a different companies' bulb and be okay?

Yup, it doesn't care. Long as the bulb type and wattage match, it's ok.
