The man that changes the water said the water shocked him when he put his hand inside the water. I didn’t really believe him because my hand was in the tank for 20 min straight fixing corals that fell the night before. After he left, I put my hand in again and nothing shocked me, so I was very confused.
Fast forward 2 days later, I got a new live stock, and I was checking the temperature of the water of the new livestock, compared to mine. I asked my brother to pass the thermometer, and as my fingers grazed his, I felt the most painful shock of my life. After painfully experimenting with the electric shocks, I found out that when the UV is plugged in, I get shocks when I touch someone.
What’s up with that? The uv is currently off and will stay off until I find a solution.
