UV Sterilizer

I need a UV Sterilizer, because I have ich in my tank after one of my fish passed and would rather spend the money upfront on a UV instead of a ton of medication down the line, but the one designed for my tank isn't in stock right now and I would rather not wait, because the UV Sterilizer is a big piece of equipment I want now to prevent more deaths in my tank. So does anyone know a good recommendation for a 40 gallon AIO cube tank instead of the one designed for it.

Off topic: your tank is only 40 gallons? You could set up a 10-20 gallon QT and eliminate the fish disease problem.

Usually when diseases start to kill, it’s a bit too late for the UV management route. Fortunately for you, a small tank is very easy to go fallow and treat the fish separately.

I’m sure the fish disease experts will weigh in soon on their recommendations.

To be clear, a UV sterilizer won't solve you problem but "might" buy you time or slightly reduce the problem.
You can safely use larger UVs but they work as continuously on X wattage heaters so keep that in mind as far as tank temp will be affected.
I would probably recommend one of the lifegard/aqua uv advantage units if you can provide it a feed pump for something more on the "affordable" but functional side since all of the powerhead style UV's are at best clarifiers due to poor dwell time.
