So I was on my local forum on Facebook and this guy was selling a uv sterilizer for 10$ so I jumped on it quick but when I met up with him it was just the 24 watt bulb no power head so I took it anyways cause I have a extra power head to hook it up but the bulb requires a weird 2 prong power supply I could buy the whole thing but it's 90$ so I'm just wondering is there another way to power this bulb that's cheaper then buying the whole thing?

I"m a little confused as to what you purchased. You bought a UV sterilizer. What brand? .... and when you purchased it, it did not come with a power supply? Is that correct?

Sorry was kinda in a hurry posting it but it is called a green killing machine uv sterilizer I know they sell the replacement bulbs for them but when I bought the light from facebook the post just said uv sterilizer I was under the assumption it was the whole system for 10 bucks I jumped on it I kept the bulb cause I know the bulb themselves are like 25 30$ he said it didn't come with power head I was like no problem I got a extra one to run it with but I thought it just plugged to a socket but it has like a 2 pin plug for a power supply

I run one of those on my Piranha tank.....unfortunately it requires the tiny powerhead, control box with power supply, and the bulb. Without those other pieces it is pretty worthless unfortunately. I am not sure what you are using it for, but to be honest, due to the design, it isn't worth much anyways unless you are just trying to clear up some green water (and you have a very small tank). I can send you pics of mine if you want to see what you are missing if you want.
