Could a uv sterilizer be used in a ato rodi holding tank to prevent slime bacterial buildup?

Ime uv sterilization kills only organisms that are free swimming. So has shown no effect for things like GSA on glass. I havent used in the application you want to. Also not entirely sure how the organisms you wish to kill reproduce, if its by spores it might work? But would depend on bulb size, flow rate and size of container.
