I was given a UV sterilizer or but I honestly don't know what they're used for and whether or not I should use it on my tank. Can someone shed some light on this subject.
For reference I have the following ....
Coralife led 32 biocube original LEDs
Running filter floss and life rock in the back only
40 lbs of live sand
35 lbs of caribsea life rock
Some coral
2 clowns
1 purple firefish
I blue (a**hole) damsel
1 emerald crab
some snails and hermits on my cuc
I am upgrading to a 75g with a 55g diy sump in the near future.
OH and I am currently fighting a small cyano outbreak with a little GHA in places also.
