Hi all, I’m still new to hobby and I got 57watt aqua uv sterilizer it’s being fed by 382gph pump. I got it to kill parasites in my tank and my total tank+ sump Volume is around 110-120 gallons. I’m attacking the aqua recommendation

the sales person recommended this pump. According to chart it should be around 1000gph. Is it bad or good that it’s slower

Provided it doesn’t heat the water up to much as it flows through, slower flow is better than high flow to achieve the correct killing power

I would try it and see how you get on, but to be honest a flow rate of 1000gph does seem a little fast for a 57UV, but I have no experience with this one.
