OK so I have seen some great set ups. I havent noticed or seen anyone mention the use of a uv sterilizer in their setup. I have one on my 90g setup but not really sure if its providing any rreal value. Any others agree or disagree??

I just started to run one and it immediately made my water 100Xs clearer , I was told they slow the growth off algea that builds up on the glass and also helps fish with parasites , not sure about the fish or algea thing I assume I haven't run it long enough to see a difference yet

Ditto on both counts. I suppose I am going to continue with it as I really dont have a problem with parasites or with algae. However I do need to get a new uv bulb for it. Thanks for the input.

No problem buddy

I've been running the Coralife UV for the 3 Years I've had this tank up and running. I've never had an Ich outbreak and still have not lost a fish. My last tank I didn't have the UV and one fish got sick and Lost 4 of our 6 fish. So IMO their Great and I'll run one on any tank I setup in the Future!!
