UV Sterlizer not Working

Hi All,

My UV Sterilizer (Brand New)'s light flashes twice when you switch it on but then stays dead.

What would be the most likely problem?

I am returning it but the local guys are idiots so I need to tell them what to try to sort it out for me please.

By the way: When replumbing, don't be a clot like I was. Glued all the pieces together and forgot one... Water everywhere!! Lesson Learned - sometimes it's not about the glue not being done properly, sometimes you just forget a piece - check check check! lol

UV devices are pretty simple....if it isn't the bulb (which I assume it isn't...they either come on or don't) then it is probably the ballast.

They actually found stock and just swapped it around, thank you!

On a related note. The unit is not filling all the way to the top with water, in fact I can see a moving water-line inside of it as it flows from right to left.

Is this normal or a problem? You can see it faintly here on the picture If you look carefully.
