so im going to vacation for 4 days, I have 2 clownfish and a blue tang and couples of LPS.
Do you think without feeding the fish for 4 days they will not die?

They won't die, but it will not be healthy for them. Your LPS will be fine. Also, unless you have an ATO, someone is going to need to add water to top off the tank.

They may not die but it may get chippy in there. You can get a feeder and wouldn't have to worry about leaving your fish without food. Eheim makes a good inexpensive one. I use it for my freshwater tank and the apex AFS for my saltwater.

Thanks for the reply yall! Last question : How many days fish can survive without eating (just curious). Also my clownfish and my bluetang doesn't want to come to the top of the water to take the food (when the food is floating on top of water), so if I get a Eheim, the food that it throws in my tank will just float on top and no ones gonna eat it :( !

you would need to get sinking pellets. That is the best way to feed a tang at least. They rarely feed from the surface of the water. Clowns will usually eat from the surface. Fish can last a while without food. There is no specific length of time. But you will cause them to turn on each other as well as stress them out, which will lead to all kinds of problems that you really don't want to deal with.

4 days isn't long, the fish will be fine.
Just feed a lil extra for a couple of days before leaving and if you don't have an ato, just pour the equivalent amount of fresh water that you estimate 4 days in your tank will use up in evaporation.
Easy peasy

I usually put a mix of flake and sinking pellets into my auto feeders. That way so floats and the other drops down. Easy.

I wouldn't call the Eheim inexpensive, but it is the nicest on out there IMO. I use it. :)

You also want to get the Eheim FeedingStation for the feeder to sit on.....works like a feeding ring, only better.

Here are some links......I use the autofeeder+feedingSTATION:

This is the exact setup I have:

If not for the tankTang, BTW, I'd say just don't worry about it......but he won't like going without food for that many days. The feeder is mostly for him. I'd do from 4 to 8 small feedings per day while you're out....at either the lowest or next lowest opening size. IMO.
