Vacation Feeding - Hockey Pucks?

Going away next week, anyone ever use one of these in a saltwater tank?

Honestly I'd be really scared what I'd come home to but never tried it so don't know how itd work. Maybe a chunk of masstick on a rock or two or glass would last a few days?

Never used in a saltwater tank. Should be fine for FOWLR but I wouldn’t recommend with a reef tank. Don’t know what additives are in there and what it would be releasing.

You can pick up a decent automatic feeder for flakes and pellets for less than $40. I like the Eheim digital one. Anything that won’t eat flakes/pellets from an auto feeder surely won’t eat off that block.

Also never used but I’d stick to the feeding pellets and an auto feeder myself.

It’s a really good idea to have a sitter check in on your tank while your gone if possible as it seems if something is going to go wrong with your system it always happens when you are away.. Murphy’s Law

Doing that too. And a webcam pointed at tank.
