Between the 7 days. You can have someone make a pitstop 1-3 times, im sure the fish will be ok the whole time your gone but theyll sure be hungry!

They could probably make it... But I would feel a heck of a lot better having someone come by at least once!

Not sure if you've seen this thread, but take a look since you're planning on being away. As to feeding, like others have said, your inhabitants can likely go a week without eating with no issues. But I would see if you can make arrangements for a mid-week feeding, at least. Just my opinion.

I would be more concerned about topping off. See the thread below for more ideas.

Thats a good thread. I do have a web came Im able to set up. I also have salt water as well as fresh RO water in case it is ever needed on hand. I may look into an auto feeder!

I dont go on vacation till mid August. So im trying to get everything in order now. Does the ehiem dose pretty much same amount everything. Im only feeding very little due to not many fish.

It can be programmed to feed between 1-4 times per day. The drum can rotate once or twice per feeding. I personally use it to feed a combination of crushed flakes and pellets while I'm gone. It has a sliding "door" that you can control the amount of food per drum rotation.

One note I will mention...once you get the "door" adjusted to the amount you want to feed, I used some tape and taped it in to position. Not a big deal by any stretch, but I just don't want it sliding open or shut while I'm away.
